Is Love Everywhere Within Your Life?

February is the month of “Love”! Not only is February the shortest month of the year with 28 days, but every four years is a Leap Year. I have often wondered when someone is born on February 29, which day do they celebrate their birthday? If they are anything like me, one day is not enough celebration of life; the entire month is a continuous Holy Ghost party!

Every gifted year of life, I am grateful for so many things and with age comes wisdom and a mature mindset. I have learned to trust God with all of my life. Psalm 138:8 (KJV) says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” The word “mercy” in other translations is “love”.

God’s love endures forever and it is everywhere and in every situation. It does not benefit anyone to succumb to worrying. How can worrying add to your day? God’s love is everywhere! Matthew 6:25-27 (NIV) poses a few questions for us to ponder.

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

I love that Jesus questions us! “Why worry”? His questioning forces us to stop and rechannel our thinking towards heaven. A little further down in the same passage of scriptures, Jesus says, “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

My friends, whatever we think about the most will grow. Therefore, set your mind on heaven and His love for you. In return, love others with that same deep affection. Allow your love to shine everywhere you go! Romans 12:9-10 says, “Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”

The glory of Lord is upon YOU and YOUR life is beautiful in every way. Rest in His love. Believe in His love. He is working on your behalf right now. All you have to do is trust His love for you
