Outreach Ministry

Living Word Community Church encourages its members to share the love of Christ with the Nashville and surrounding communities through volunteerism, evangelism, and ministry. As a ministry, we actively participate in blood and bone marrow drives in and around the city as well as in any activity that strengthens the Body of Christ.

In addition to the local community support, financial and volunteer assistance is provided for missionary endeavors within the United States and in other countries. Regardless of our special interests, spiritual gifts and talents, there is a place for our members to advance the Kingdom of God.

“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”

– 2 Corinthians 9:12

Martha O’Bryan- Joyful Noise

Living Word Community Church partners with Martha O’Bryan Community Center, a Christian outreach ministry located in the James A. Cayce Homes, and other local ministries to provide the Joyful Noise worship service. Joyful Noise provides the families within the community an opportunity to corporately worship and respond to the love of Christ. -Psalm 63:3

Room In the Inn

Living Word Community Church is one of the local supporting churches for the Room in the Inn program. This program provides warm food, clothing, showers, grooming services and temporary overnight shelter to the homeless population in Nashville during the winter months. This ministry not only provides the homeless men warm food and place to stay but food to nourish their soul-The Word of God!
